Hi there, it's been a long time ago since our last mix, but things will be more active now: the Electronic Hippies will release a series of 60's and 70's mixes, more or less in chronological order, to start with 1966, the year before The Summer of Love.

New/old hippies ‘Acid Mothers Temple’ from Japan: they played at WFMU’s Monty Hall earlier this year and generously shared their music with the Free Music Archive.
Around 25'00" you can hear them with a cover of Black Sabbath’s “The Wizard”.

Amateurama 2017 - 22-23 april

Op Amateurama duiken we voor het tweede jaar op rij de kelder van de Schouwburg van Leuven in voor een onvervalste happening.

Je kan komen kijken naar de film Monterey Pop met muziek van Simon & Garfunkel, The Who, Janis Joplin …De moeder van alle festivals waar deze film over gaat, was niet meer of niet minder de trigger voor de hippiecultuur.

Voor en na de film draaien we een heerlijke mix van bekende en onbekende hippiemuziek. De hippie-inkleding van de kelder maakt het helemaal af.
