Arthur Brown Kastival 1968
50 years ago in 1968 (31 aug.), Arthur Brown did a wild performance in the middle of nowhere in Belgium, in a small place called Kasterlee on a small festival called Kastival; one of the other bands were Pink Floyd, see other post here

50 jaar mei ‘68
Praktisch: vrijdag 1 juni in Labozaal Stuk:
- film Monterey Pop 21:00
- The Beatless: 22:18
- Electronic Hippies: 23:30
- Moos: 00:30
Hell, it’s 1968 again!
May ‘68 is 50 years young: it was generally a big middle finger stuck up to the system and the narrow-minded bourgeoisie. Enjoy this mix full of rebellious music from 1968 with a little help from the young Beatles & Stones, Floyd, Young, Zombies and a lot of Californian longhaired hippies.

1968-02-22: Pink Floyd Live @ Leuven (BE)
22 feb. 1968 (exactly 50 years ago!): the story of Pink Floyd Live in Leuven (BE): it almost happened, but was canceled because of some ‘political’ student action.

Party like it's 1967! prt. 1
This is a mix of songs from 1967, the year of the first rock festivals ever, like Fantasy Fair & Magic Mountain Music Festival, the Monterey International Pop Festival and Jazz Bilzen. It was also the year of The Summer of Love with the raise of the hippie phenomenon. 1967 saw the publishing of the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, the Stones' answer Their Satanic Majesties Request and the debut albums of both Pink Floyd and David Bowie.
In short, 1967 was the start of experimentation with sex, drugs and rock'n'roll.
Enjoy!
